finally fantasy tickets

I am having a good day thus far. Minus this part right now.

Right now the internet is refusing to work correctly and I realised I left the paper telling me what to do my paper on at home, so I am waiting for some friend to get back to me so that I might do my work.

No one’s getting back to me :(

This morning I woke up at 7:30, after barely being able to sleep (again). (You see I was nearly asleep when I woke up to hear the extra curricular activities of my roommate and her recent ex. Why was he over? I’ve no idea. Also, I got my swine flu vaccination yesterday and my arm was hurting quite a bit, so it was hard to not roll over onto that side.)

Anyway. Got up, called my friend John. I can say his name, it is a generic, popular name. Informed him that we had to catch the bus downtown because the ride I thought we had was now unavailable. Managed to get ready in ten minutes, went to the bus stop, froze my butt off.

So yeah, good morning! It gets better. The bus was jam packed up until we got to the university, and I managed to read two and a half chapters of a book. John got on the bus and we went downtown. Upon our arrival on Water Street we wandered around Auntie Crae’s while we waited for 9:15 to roll around. What did we do then?

That is the entire purpose of this storie.

We went two doors down to O’Brien’s Music and while I stared at the many ukulele’s (in different colours, along with soprano, tenor and baritone!) John bought our tickets for Final Fantasy.

Owen Pallett, if you will.

He’s coming here in February.

I am the happiest girl in the world.

We missed our bus back to school so we got hot chocolate at Hava Java and the people working there were playing a band called The 1AM Radio which I now have to check out because they sounded good.

And now here I am, in the library, trying to write a paper but with no information on it.

I’m still pretty cold, but in here is only slightly less cold than outside.

Regardless. I have tickets for Final Fantasy in two months time and I couldn’t be happier. I’m pretty sure I owe John a lifetime of ‘Oh my God I love you thank you so much’ ‘s to make up for this.

I need to work on that paper now. It only has to be three times the length of this post, so that can’t be too bad, right?

I hope not.

John Donne, here I come!

P.S. Where I am seated in the library I have a really good view of a cute hipster boy who keeps glancing at me, so apparantly this day is staying on the good track! Now if my arm stopped hurting and I could warm up, I’d be set.

I’m going to see if I can figure out how to post videos to display the excellence that is Final Fantasy.
